Massage (1 Hour)
This session will include Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage and trigger point release to optimise muscle tension and conditioning. Ideal for those suffering with tension, pre and post sporting events or just wanting to improve muscle length and performance.
The 1 hour sports massage session will include a brief history taking and biomechanical assessment. The biomechanical assessment will allow us to create a specific manual therapy plan thus ensuring the correct areas are being focused on. After that, we will provide a combination of Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage and trigger point release to help the muscle system function at an optimum level. In addition, this is often supported by some advice on stretching and self-management. This is ideal for those suffering with tension, pre and post sporting events. Similarly, this is ideal for patients just wanting to improve muscle length and performance.
An effective sports massage incorporates a combination of basic and advanced deep tissue massage techniques, stimulating the circulation of blood and lymph fluids.
