Physiotherapy for Running Injuries

Running, one of the purest forms of exercise, offers numerous benefits for our physical and mental health. However, the repetitive impact and demands of running often lead to injuries. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a casual jogger, the risk of injury is always present. But fear not! My clinic, led by Solomon Canevaro, a physiotherapist with a passion for running and expertise in sports injuries, is here to ensure you keep running towards your goals, injury-free.

My clinic focuses on identifying the root cause of your pain, which could range from muscular imbalances to poor running mechanics. Treatment may include exercises to strengthen the knee, hip, and core muscles, alongside advice on running form and appropriate footwear.

Physiotherapy for Tibial Stress Fractures: A Warning to Heed

I employ a phased approach, starting with rest and gentle cross-training activities, followed by specific exercises to gradually rebuild strength and resilience in the bone.

South London Patient Review of Physiotherapy treatment received for Anterior Knee Pain

Mariel James’s Review

I was highly impressed with Solomon and would readily recommend him. He saw me for a longstanding knee issue and gave me a rehab regime that I was confident in and advice on how to adapt this should the injury flare up. He checked all my technique (which I was surprised to hear wasn’t perfect (!) given that I’ve had lots of physio before) and improved it so that I’d get more out of my exercises. Solomon managed to fit assessment, diagnosis, massage and a thorough explanation and demonstration of what I needed to do into our 1 hour session, using every minute of the time. He didn’t try and get lots more sessions out of me and was honest about what follow up I’d benefit from – however, I’ll definitely be going back to see him for further treatment.
